Coming from - going to, essence of non-places and emotional connection to place is a speculative design project, diving into the human connection between identity and place, and the experience of chaos and identity-loss when approaching neo-capitalist architecture. The project is based on texts and philosophies by a number of architects and thinkers, among them Marc Augé, Oscar Hansen, Rem Koolhaas and Christian Norberg-Schulz. The result is a proposition of an interactive, spatial installation at Bergen Airport, Flesland, intending to calm the restless feeling of placelessness between departure and arrival.
